Chapter 24

Lance waited for someone to answer his question. He tapped his foot on the floor impatiently as his eyes darted from Nick to Justin and back to Nick again. "Well?"

"Are you mad?" Nick asked timidly. He tried to think about how he would have felt if Chris and Justin had have gone as far as he and Kevin had, if he was in the car and realized that they HAD gone that far before. It had never bothered him, at least not to this extent.

Justin couldn’t answer the question. He wasn’t mad, but he felt a little strange. Chris was his boyfriend, he loved Chris more than anything in the entire world, but watching Nick and Kevin had done something to him. He wasn’t supposed to think that Kevin was sexy, that Nick was lucky to have Kevin as his boyfriend. And he certainly wasn’t supposed to be amazed at how sexy Nick was when he was whimpering and grinding against Kevin. For a second, Justin tried to picture what it would be like to be with Nick and the concept seemed so foreign to him, that he couldn’t do it.

But watching Nick and Kevin, that he could picture. That he didn’t have to picture, he’d witnessed it first hand. Kevin wasn’t supposed to be that sexy when he was coming in Nick’s hand. It wasn’t supposed to happen.

Mostly, Justin was embarrassed for feeling the way he did and he knew he had to tell Chris about it, but he didn’t want his boyfriend to be mad that he thought other people were sexy.

"Do you think I’m a slut now?" Nick asked, almost afraid of the answer. He watched as Justin’s eyes widened and his mouth turned into a surprised ‘O’.

Lance gasped as he looked at Justin with accusing eyes. "You think he’s a slut? What did you do Nick?" If Justin thought that Nick was a slut for making out with Kevin in the car, then he shuddered to think what Justin thought of him and AJ.

Nick sighed and closed his eyes. His mind went back to the car only moments earlier and a grin covered his lips. He blushed and when he opened his eyes, he saw Lance watching him closely, an amused expression on his face.

"Well? Must have been good if you’re smirking like that."

"We were just kissing, and then he ...started to rub against my dick with his hand. Just petting it and stroking it over my jeans. So I did the same. We kissed and I was rubbing him harder and harder until ..."

"He came," Justin whispered. Lance’s eyes widened again.

"Who came?"

"Kevin," Nick and Justin said at the same time.

"I saw Kevin ...I saw Nick make Kevin come."

Lance whimpered. He closed his eyes and tried to envision it, finding that he couldn’t. Damn, he wished he had have ridden with them to Kevin’s. "Was it hot? Damn, why did I have to go with Aje? I finally get my chance and I miss it!"

Nick blushed and grinned. He missed the way Justin’s features softened before he smiled as well. Justin’s smile turned into a concerned frown. Lance’s frown mirrored Justin’s.

"What’s wrong?" Lance asked Justin. So far he’d heard nothing that explained why Justin was mad and Nick worried that his best friend thought he was a slut.

"It was hot," Justin admitted. "Too hot. I shouldn’t think it’s hot."

"Why not?" Lance asked. "I think it’s hot."

"But ...what about AJ? What about Chris?"

"What about them?" Lance asked with a shrug.

Justin turned to Nick with regret. He hated how upset Nick was and that it was his fault. He was jealous and surprised and confused and had taken it out on Nick, who hadn’t deserved any of this, especially not on the day he’d been looking forward to for so long. "I’m sorry."

"Are you mad at me?" Nick repeated. This time, Justin shook his head vigorously.

"No, and you’re not a slut. I just ...it made me feel weird.."

Nick frowned. "I’M sorry, I should have waited until..."

Justin cut him off. "I’m not supposed to think you’re sexy. I’ve never seen you like that with him and it ...surprised me. You telling me about it is one thing, but watching it? Oh my god ... I’m not supposed to think Kevin’s sexy either..."

"And you do?" Nick asked, surprised. Justin nodded, looking embarrassed.

"I couldn’t stop watching you two, and it was making me hard. Just ...your voice and the way you were kissing him. You made me hard."

Nick’s erection throbbed. He’d been denied his release and it was reminding him of that fact. Instinctively, he adjusted himself, aware of Justin’s eyes focused on his hand.

"You’re not supposed to make me hard," Justin pleaded softly. "You’re my best friend."

"I’m sorry," Nick apologized.

Lance watched the interaction take place, still disappointed. "I always miss the good stuff." His words diffused the tense situation, causing both Nick and Justin to laugh. Justin took the opportunity to adjust his own bulge.

"I wish that Chris would sneak upstairs with me," Justin whined. "Seeing you two make out is making me want to make out."

"Tonight," Nick promised. "You’ll have Chris all to yourself."

Justin shook his head, ‘he’s baby-sitting. We’re going to watch movies..."

"Don’t the girls go to bed at nine?"

Justin nodded.

"Doesn’t Chris’ mom come home way later?"

Justin nodded, this time with a smile on his face.

Nick wiggled his eyebrows while Lance poked Justin’s side. "So we’ll all be getting some tonight, you and Chris, me and Kevin and Lance and AJ."

The three of them partook in a group shimmy, relieving the remaining tension that was hanging over them.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"So Romeo," Chris teased as he joined Kevin, Joey and Brian. "I see you’ve changed."

Kevin’s eyes narrowed and he growled at his best friend. "You keep reminding me why I haven’t missed you at all. In fact, I’ve decided to replace you with Drew."

Chris’s eyes widened comically and he put his hand to his chest dramatically. "Oh, please ...say it’s not true. I just couldn’t take it."

Joey laughed at Chris’ antics. "I don’t know C, Drew’s pretty cool. If you're going to be replaced, at least it’s not with someone lame."

"He’s pretty hot too," Chris agreed. For a moment, he recalled the brief time he’d spent with Kevin’s roommate and nodded. "Yeah, he was pretty buff."

"Dude, you seen him stark yet?" Joey asked, eyes wide. "Hell, have you seen any of the girls stark?" Suddenly, Joey had visions of college co-eds all streaking through the halls towards the showers, wearing nothing but a smile on their faces. Their lithe bodies were bouncing with each step and they were flinging their hair around like they always did in the movies. He felt his groin tighten and the smile amplify. A smack to his stomach broke him out of the fantasy that had already started in his mind.

"First off, shut up. Second ... You’re an ass." Brian said, cheeks pink at the mental image of Jordana naked. He’d told himself that he was going to stop emailing her until he’d figured things out in his head, but every time he saw her name in his inbox, a shiver of excitement would flow up and down his spine and he would be halfway through responding before he remembered he’d decided not to. Joey raised an eyebrow and shook his head.

"Right, like you haven’t thought about Jordana ...prancing around the halls naked..."

"Both of you," Kevin sighed. "Shut up."

"No I haven’t seen Drew naked," everyone looked at him with eyes full of disbelief and he blushed. "Not entirely naked anyways. I ...I don’t want him to be freaked out when I tell him ..." A silence fell upon the group as Kevin wandered into war zone territory. Brian had effectively agreed not to judge Kevin’s failure to tell his college friends about his sexual practices, mainly due to the overwhelming hypocrisy if he did. Joey and Chris on the other hand had not made such promises, and Kevin saw the anger flare in the depths of their eyes.

"Anyways .. I haven’t seen him naked," Kevin mumbled. "And as for the girls, no. Again. No."

There was an awkward between the four best friends, finally Joey spoke. "When are we going to discuss this?"

"Not now," Chris said. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Justin, Lance and Nick return from Kevin’s kitchen, two of the three currently making their way over to where they were standing.

"But.." Joey started to argue, cut off by Nick’s cheerful voice.

"Hey guys, what’d we miss?"

Joey nearly jumped a foot in the air and glared at Chris.

"I said not now."

"How was I supposed to know?"

"Maybe trust me when I say not now?"

The two friends glared at each other until finally Joey sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Fine. But at some point we are going to discuss this."

"And I agree. God Joey, why are you up in my shit? Out of all of us, I’m the one you AREN’T pissed with!"

Joey thought about it and laughed, Chris’ words rang truth. "Fuck, you’re right. Sorry."

"What did we miss?" Nick asked again, looking at the four friends in concern. Brian and Kevin looked uncomfortable while Joey and Chris were arguing.

"Absolutely nothing," Brian lied. "We’re just catching up on the fighting we haven’t been able to do since Kevin left."

Nick and Justin knew that Brian wasn’t being entirely truthful, but it wasn't their problem. They decided to ignore it. Instead, Justin tugged on Chris’ sleeve. "Excuse me, but I need to borrow my boyfriend." He flashed Nick a knowing smirk, which the blonde returned.

"Borrowing means you’ll return him," Kevin joked. "Please, we beg you to keep him."

The group laughed as Chris gave Kevin the finger. "You’d be lost without me Richardson. Just because your new friends are all fancy shmancy UCLA peoples..." He paused as Justin whispered something into his ear. Chris’ face turned a light shade of pink.

"We’ll be over here," Justin assured the gang with a smile and a nod. He led his boyfriend to a secluded area of the patio.

Joey went to find Mandy while Brian left to converse with the small group of people he’d barely been introduced to, leaving Nick and Kevin alone once again. Nick tugged on Kevin’s hand until they found themselves curled up on a patio lounger, their bodies pressed tightly together.

"So, tell me everything," Nick asked. He looked into Kevin’s eyes and tried to memorize everything, he wanted to be able to keep these memories for when Kevin was back at school.

"I miss you. I love you. I’m glad I came home."

Nick practically beamed as he tingled, the reaction from Kevin’s words. "I know that. Duh, you tell me that every day. I want to hear about your classes, the people, the fun you’re having."

Initially, Kevin had been hesitant to tell Nick about how much fun he was having and the people he was meeting, but the more he spoke, the more excited Nick seemed to be getting. He loved hearing how much Kevin was enjoying himself, which in turn eased Kevin’s conscience in sharing details with him.

"So, was I right?" Nick asked, eyes wide. "Are people having sex 24/7?"

"Truth?"

Nick nodded. "Always."

"Some." He heard Nick’s gasp and chuckled. "I mean, not me obviously."

"Obviously," Nick said through gritted teeth. He pinched Kevin playfully and giggled as Kevin returned the favour.

"But some people do. At that first party ... I didn’t want to tell you because I thought you would freak out, but I ..." His cheeks heated up at the memory of the couples he’d found while walking through his dorm. "I saw like, so many people having sex."

"Are you serious?" Nick gasped. "You saw them ...having sex out in the open?"

Kevin nodded. "Yeah, this one girl and guy were in the laundry room..."

"Where you wash your clothes?" When Kevin nodded Nick scrunched his nose up. "Ewww, you wash your clothes there."

"I know. And in the hall, in their rooms with their doors open."

"Wow. Anyone hot?"

"Having sex?" Kevin asked.

"No," Nick clarified. "In general, is there anyone totally hot. I mean, your roommate is a hottie."

"Chris said the same thing," Kevin commented. He looked across the deck to see Justin and Chris kissing leisurely.

"He’s right.. He’s got good taste." Nick looked over to also see Chris and Justin, which reminded him of what Justin had admitted to him. "If I tell you something, you promise not to tell?"

"Tell who?"

"Anyone."

Kevin nodded instantly. They held up their pinkies and linked them, tugging gently.

"Say it. You have to say it when we pinky swear."

"I promise."

Nick’s face broke out into a giant grin and he seat shimmied. "Justin got hard watching us in the car." He watched as Kevin's cheeks darkened and he looked at his hands in embarrassment.

"I can’t believe we..." Kevin said softly. Despite the embarrassment, a shiver of excitement traveled up his spine.

"Me either," Nick admitted. "Are you ..mad? Do you regret it?"

Kevin thought about what he wanted to say for a few minutes before speaking. "Do you think I’m a pervert if I say no, I don’t regret it? That ...it was kind of hot?"

Nick leaned in to kiss Kevin passionately, licking at his lips. "No, I thought it was hot too. At first, when I came in I thought Justin was mad and thought I was a slut, but he said that he was freaked out because he thinks you’re hot. He thinks we’re hot together."

For some reason, that admission made Kevin feel really good. Once again, he looked over at Justin and Chris, surprised to find them looking over at them. Chris waved. Kevin waved back. Justin buried his face in Chris’ shirt.

~*~*~*~*~

"You think he’s hot?" Chris asked as Justin hid his face in embarrassment. He could feel the heat of Justin’s cheeks through the fabric of his tee shirt.

Justin’s response was muffled, Chris couldn’t quite make it out.

"What’s that? I didn’t hear it." He already knew that Justin had enjoyed watching Nick and Kevin in the car ride over. He knew it because he’d seen the wood Justin had been sporting, as well as the way he was holding it, as if trying to decide to work it or just leave it be. There was also the look of raw lust in Justin’s eyes as they’d exited the car and had been walking towards Kevin’s house. He’d looked back for just a second, which had in turn caused Justin to look back and at that pivotal moment, they had both witnessed his best friend mid-orgasm. Chris couldn’t deny that it was pretty hot to watch, but it hadn’t affected him nearly as much as it had Justin.

"Yes," Justin admitted with a whine. He pulled away, his lips curled into a frown. "He’s hot. Sexy. And you can be mad all you want that I think he’s sexy. I’m sorry."

Nothing could have surprised Chris more in that moment. He looked at Justin, wanting to make sure he hadn’t misunderstood. He hadn’t. Justin was worried that Chris was angry at him for finding Kevin sexy.

"Not just Kevin," Justin admitted. "Nick too."

Justin watched as Chris’ eyes nearly bugged out of his head and his jaw dropped to the floor.

"Nick?" Now Chris was starting to get worried. Chris was not at all threatened by Kevin, he knew that his best friend didn’t stand a chance, but Nick? If Justin was having sex-me-up thoughts about Nick, then something was seriously wrong and Chris’ position in Justin’s life might be in jeopardy.

Justin’s eyes met Chris’ and he afforded himself a laugh. "Oh, like ...only when he’s sexing up Kevin and they’re touching each other. He’s sexy when he’s making those sounds and being all kittenish, but not every day Nick. Yeah, he’s cute and hot, but not for me. You're my cute and hot and sexy boyfriend." Justin frowned and scratched his forehead. "Am I making sense? I don’t want to do sexy things with Nick."

"Or Kevin?"

Justin’s face went white and he shook his head quickly. "Oh, no. Definitely not." Justin couldn’t even imagine doing sexy things with Kevin.

"Then what’s wrong?" Chris asked, relieved. He pulled Justin closer, nuzzling his neck playfully. "If you don’t want to BE with them, why are you upset?"

"Aren’t you upset that I find other people sexy?"

Chris shrugged. He wasn’t sure how Justin was going to react to what he was going to say, so he had to hope for the best. "I find other people sexy." Just as he’d expected, Chris watched Justin’s eyes narrow.

"Who?"

"What do you mean who?" Chris laughed. Justin was not laughing.

"Who do you find sexy? Real people? Celebrities?"

"Celebrities are real people," Chris teased. Justin rolled his eyes.

"I mean real people we know."

Chris shrugged. "Kevin’s roommate Drew is hot. He’s buff and kinda sexy. Uh.." Chris’ cheeks turned slightly pink, catching Justin’s attention. The younger teen poked Chris’ side, giggling.

"Tell me."

"You can’t say anything to anyone."

Justin nodded.

"ANYONE," Chris growled. Justin nodded solemnly.

"Josh is hot." Chris was about to close his eyes in embarrassment when he saw Justin’s eyes widen and his lips curl into a giant grin. "What?"

"I have the biggest, most super secret crush on Josh." Chris gasped and Justin nodded, his expression serious. "Totally. Only Nick and you know."

Now Chris was thinking about Justin and Josh together, a thought that his groin was definitely in favour of.

"Anyone else?" Justin asked, almost afraid of the answer. He was relieved that Chris wasn’t upset with him for thinking other people were hot, but at the same time, wasn’t ready for Chris to give him a whole list of people he was lusting after. Thankfully, Chris must have noticed his hesitation in asking. Finally, after much debate, Chris shook his head.

"Nah, not really." Justin’s smile was worth more than any fantasy could ever give him. They kissed sweetly, finally pulling away when they were both breathless. "So," Chris prompted as he nuzzled Justin’s jaw. "What were you suggesting for when my sisters go to bed and are asleep?"

~*~*~*~*~*~*

AJ was curious as to what Kevin and Nick had been up to in the car ride over from the school. Whatever it was, had Lance all riled up, and not that AJ was complaining, but he would like to know exactly how much he had to thank Nick and Kevin. The topic of conversation was centred around the fact that the fourth Harry Potter movie was coming out relatively soon and Mandy couldn’t wait to see it. AJ had made the mistake in mentioning that he’d never read any of the books, which had in effect, caused for Lance, Joey and Mandy to stare at him like he’d grown a second head.

"What?" AJ asked, leaning backwards just slightly. Mandy’s jaw was touching her chest, Joey had stopped mid sentence and Lance had started to laugh until he’d realized that AJ wasn’t kidding.

"You haven’t read it?" Mandy whispered. "Like, any of them?"

AJ shook his head slower. "No."

Mandy turned to Lance, eyes wide with something that looked like horror. "And you’re voluntarily dating him? Knowing this?"

Joey mumbled to himself about today’s youth and how it was being wasted in the technology age.

AJ rolled his eyes and sighed. It wasn’t that big of a deal, or at least he hadn’t thought it was.

"I had no clue," Lance convinced Mandy. "I mean, if I knew ...you think I’d have let him admit it freely?"

"It’s not a big deal," AJ tried to interject. He quickly found that his voice had been rendered inaudible.

"You’ve got them though, right?" Mandy asked Lance. She breathed a sigh of relief when he nodded enthusiastically.

"Totally. I’ve got the hard cover versions, but also the paperback. Well, the paperback for all of them except The Half Blood Prince, but when that comes out in paperback, I’ll be buying it. It’s easier to read when it’s not a hundred pounds." Lance turned to AJ, as if remembering he was there. "I’ll lend them to you."

AJ blushed and shrugged. "No really, wizards and magic? Not really my thing. Thanks anyway though."

The three gasped, as if unable to believe their ears. AJ was only digging his hole deeper. He shrank back in defeat.

"So, I’ll get those from you tonight when I drop you off?"

Lance nodded slowly, as if AJ were a child. "Yes. If you read the first one and you don’t like it, you don’t have to continue. But just read the first."

"You’ll be hooked," Joey promised with a grin. "I thought the same thing, that it was a chick book, but it’s awesome."

Mandy clapped, excitedly. "Ooh, and then when he’s caught up, we can all get together and watch the first three movies before the Goblet of Fire movie comes out." Mandy turned to AJ, softly touching his arm. "You’ll totally love the movies. You’ve got to see them."

"I’ll take your word for it."

When they were alone, AJ leaned in to whisper in Lance’s ear. "Do you really want me to read this Harry Potter..."

"Yes," Lance answered softly. "I think you’ll really enjoy it." They shared a look and Lance nodded. "Do you trust me?"

"Of course I do."

"Then give it a try. Can’t hurt. Then we can watch the movies."

Once AJ had made sure that no one else was around, he leaned in to whisper in Lance’s ear. "I know another movie I want to watch more right now."

Lance whimpered and felt his groin tighten. "Me too.."

"Do you want to watch the one we started last week or.." Lance nodding his head so enthusiastically caused for AJ to stop talking. A small smile played on his lips as his stomach flipped excitedly a few times. "The college one?"

"Is ...is that okay?" Lance asked. He knew that AJ must have seen them about a thousand times each and was probably bored of them. "If you’re bored.."

The sound of AJ’s voice carried in the warm afternoon air causing for people to turn and give them curious glances. AJ only waved as Lance hid his face in embarrassment.

"What are you guys talking about?" Christina asked from her seat a few feet away. Lance’s cheeks were bright red and AJ was grinning at her.

"Just a movie we’d watched." His words caught JC’s attention and his best friend flashed him a knowing smirk.

"Good movie?"

Lance groaned, further in embarrassment.

"Fucking unbelievable movie."

"Glad you liked it."

Lance looked up and saw Josh grinning at him. He managed a weak smile before leaning in to whisper for AJ to be quiet.

The afternoon passed quickly and before they all knew, it was time to get going. Everyone had other places they were expected to be, and one by one they said their good-byes with promises to see each other at Kevin’s birthday party the next day.

It was then that Chris realized he and Justin had gone with Kevin. "We’ll drive you to get the kids," Kevin said as he began to clean up the random dishes on the patio. Chris protested that it wasn’t necessary, but Kevin assured him that he and Nick weren’t going to be hanging out at his house all night. "My parents will be home soon, and this is the last place I want to spend time with Nick."

"Are they going to be in all night?" Nick asked, disappointed. They surely couldn’t go to his house to spend time alone together, and as much as he wanted to go out with Kevin, he had wanted some inside, private time alone with his boyfriend. The smile on Kevin’s face let Nick know he knew exactly what he was asking.

"No. They have a fund raiser to attend at nine, which should run them until all hours of the night. They’ve decided to have someone drive them, which means they’re both expecting to drink, which means they’ll be pretty damn late."

Nick’s grin nearly lit up the entire kitchen.

"So we’ll take Chris and J to where they need to go, then I’ll take you home so you can change and then we’ll go out for dinner. The rest of the night we can play by ear."

Playing it by ear sounded just fine to Nick. Anything that included alone time with Kevin right now sounded fine and he practically skipped down the driveway towards the SUV.
